Working with children/adolescents who are abused, traumatized, and their families is a daunting task. The family may often be depleted by the regular demands of raising a child with a disability and often is exceeding overburdened by the presence of sexualized behaviors. This presentation will focus on direct and indirect methods of trauma treatment while utilizing new found strengths and coping skills.
