Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is among the most evidence-based, effective approaches to psychotherapy. Traditional CBT, however, is not well adapted for individuals with intellectual disability. This presentation will explore how CBT can be effectively modified for individuals with intellectual disability using a mindfulness-based, experiential approach.
