Evidence-based practice influences mental health research and practice throughout the world, but its impact on intellectual disabilities has been modest. This webinar will present: (a) the rationale for evidence-based practice; (b) the methods of systematic reviews and meta-analysis; (c) a brief summary of approximately 300 meta-analyses; and (d) illustrate the application to skills training, anxiety, and depression.
